How is this different from traditional outsourcing?
Traditional outsourcing is project-based and vendor-managed — you ship work out, the vendor processes it behind a curtain, and you get a deliverable back. The dedicated staffing model gives you a full-time professional who works in your systems, attends your standups and is managed by your team. Think of it as remote hiring without the HR overhead.
What software stacks are your resources trained on?
QuickBooks Online & Desktop, Xero, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Drake, UltraTax, CCH Axcess, ProSystem fx, Lacerte, ProConnect, TaxDome, Karbon, Canopy, Caseware, ProFx Engagement, Knowledge Coach, ADP, Gusto, Paychex, bill.com, Dext, SurePrep, GoFileRoom and most major firm-side tools. If you use something niche, we'll either find someone trained on it or certify them before deployment.
What's the minimum engagement?
One full-time resource (40 hours / week) for one month. No multi-year contracts, no minimum headcount. Many firms start with a single Senior Bookkeeper or Tax Preparer and grow the bench from there.
Who manages the resource day-to-day?
You do. Your team assigns work, sets priorities, runs reviews and gives feedback — exactly as you would with an in-house hire. Accritic handles HR, payroll, infrastructure and provides a dedicated account manager for escalations and capacity changes.
What happens if a resource isn't working out?
In the first 30 days of any new resource engagement we replace at no charge, including ramp-up time on the replacement. Beyond 30 days we work with you on a structured improvement plan and, if needed, manage the transition to a new resource within 2–6 weeks.
What time zone do your resources work?
We staff to your time zone. Standard overlap is 4–6 hours of US business-hours coverage daily (EST, CST, MST or PST). For firms needing real-time response, we deploy resources on a fully shifted US-hours schedule.
How do you handle data security and compliance?
Resources work from secured Accritic offices on company-issued, locked-down workstations. No data is stored locally. Access is via your firm's VPN, Citrix or RDP into your environment. We operate to SOC 2-aligned controls and support GLBA, IRS Section 7216, NDAs and BAAs as needed.
Can I scale up during busy season and back down after?
Yes — with notice. We offer "seasonal bench" arrangements: you commit baseline headcount year-round and pre-reserve additional Level 1–3 capacity for January–April. Reserve-now pricing is locked at sign-up.
